Rolls-Royce

A lifestyle series for Rolls-Royce Beverly Hills, around the Cullinan, in Los Angeles.

Client
Rolls-Royce Beverly Hills
Scope
Art direction, photography, film
Location
Los Angeles

The project

This series was made with Rolls-Royce of Beverly Hills in Los Angeles to promote the Cullinan. The challenge was to give the Cullinan a younger and more feminine image.

The approach

As art director, I wanted the Los Angeles vibe: palms, neons, bulb lights, Mulholland Drive, to bring out the LA glamour of its golden days. Every shot was meant to be subtle and thought of as a lifestyle series.

01 — Beverly Hills

The Cullinan

At dusk, under the palms, the car stays in the background. The eye goes first to a silhouette, then to the details: the grille, the headlights, the Spirit of Ecstasy in the rain.

02 — Mulholland Drive

LA nights

At night, the series moves under a ceiling of bulb lights, past a vintage motel neon, then onto the curves of Mulholland Drive, with the silhouette of the Spirit of Ecstasy on the bonnet as the only landmark.
