Twisty Rolls – brand world: cinnamon rolls, Twisty Rolls Santa Monica logo and wave pattern, branding by Jon Filin

The project

The challenge was to create a striking brand in a busy place of passage, here in Montparnasse, Paris, while keeping it accessible yet elegant.

The context

The client already ran a brand. Twisty Rolls was created to replace it, from the name to the point of sale: naming, logo, storytelling, branding and architectural design.

01 — Storytelling

The story

The story fits in a few lines, like the concept itself: one product, understood in a few seconds.

The idea for Twisty Rolls was born in Santa Monica.A simple concept, made to be understood in a few seconds.

One product. One recognisable gesture.A roll, rolled, twisted and baked on site.

The project then took shape in Paris. The recipes were finalised. The format refined. The experience clarified.

Not to do more.To do it right.

Today, Twisty Rolls still rests on the same base: rolls made fresh all day long, with a simple, controlled process.

03 — Architectural design

The kiosk

The kiosk was designed to be read from a distance in the Montparnasse crowds. The fascia carries the name on two sides, the display case puts the rolls forward and the spiral panels echo the product drawing. On the side of the counter, one line: “May your cinnamon rolls rise”.
